Biography
I work with people who are struggling to live their life in the way that they want to. Often they have chronic illnesses, struggle with obesity, can’t sleep, or just know that they are not feeling well. But conventional approaches to healing have failed them. That’s where I come in. I know from my own experience of being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease over 30 years ago, and picking up additional auto immune diseases along the way, how hard it can be to see a way for life to be normal again. Despite being told that there was nothing more to be done, I took matters into my own hands, because I wouldn’t accept that things couldn’t get better. After much searching, and many dead ends, I discovered macrobiotics, and I started a macrobiotic healing diet. This worked miracles for me in a very short space of time. I felt well for the first time in years, and so I learned to cook and discovered a whole new world of foods. As a business owner, wife and Mum, I wasn’t sure I had time for cooking from scratch but after feeling so good after 20 years of pain, it was something I decided to prioritise, and despite concerns about affordability, I found that I spent less on food than before! When my health continued to improve, I became fascinated by the role of the gut microbiome and I now have a diploma as a Natural Vegan chef, which means I can support people to find a diet that works for them too. But … my quest for living my best life continued, and when I found some breathing exercises during a meditation class lifted my mind and body, I wanted to know more. I started researching the positive benefits of breath work and I decided to learn more by signing up to professional training so I could learn more and have better inside information . I couldn’t believe how something so simple could be so effective, and it just blew my mind. I knew that I had to add this in to the support I was giving people and so I went off to Ireland to qualify as a full Oxygen Advantage instructor with Patrick Mckeown. Just spending 10 minutes twice a day together with better eating habits is all that’s needed to remove the limits and live your life to the full. I have done all the home work and all the research with all the positives and negatives so I am here to teach you how to become your own master of your own health!
